On September 19, the 10th-anniversary class reunion of the Tsinghua PBCSF Finance EMBA Class of 2016 (Class 8) was held in Hangzhou. With the theme "Class 8, Ten Years, One Family," the reunion was not only a gathering of classmates but also an exchange about enterprises, industries, and the future.

This time, the alumni visited listed companies such as Unitree Robotics, Chuling Technologies, and Wensli. From embodied intelligence to digital information, and then to the classic silk of history, the visited companies were like different facets, piecing together a keyword for this 10th-anniversary Hangzhou trip:

Change.

Industries in change, enterprises in change, and every individual in change as well.



How can historical classics keep up with the AI era?

During the keynote sharing session, Li Jianhua, speaker of CCTV's "Lecture Room" and Chairman of Wensli Silk, took his company's own transformation practices as a starting point and summarized its development path as:

Inheritance, promotion, and development.

From cultural inheritance to serving world-class events, and then to actively embracing artificial intelligence, AI is reshaping multiple aspects of Wensli, including design, production, and marketing.

Li Jianhua stated that, relying on hardcore technologies such as its self-built AI large model containing a database of over 700,000 patterns, its independently developed waterless printing and dyeing integrated machine, and the protein peptides extracted from the golden silkworm pupae of its cultivated "Golden Silkworm No. 1," Wensli is accelerating its shift from "large-scale manufacturing" to a brand-new consumption scenario featuring instant and personalized customization. It is also actively exploring new business models such as the AI agent-empowered OPC "one-person company" and the big health consumer sector.




In the future, Wensli will focus on four hundred-billion-level industrial tracks — digital silk, integrated textile printing and dyeing machines, silk big health, and AI agents — continuously broadening the development boundaries of the historical classic industry.

Enterprises are shifting gears, and people are also rediscovering themselves.

After discussing industry among entrepreneurs, they also talked about themselves. At the event, Professor Yu Dan delivered a keynote speech titled "To Middle Age: Reconciliation and Self-Consistency."



She talked about "acceptance" — not demanding perfection of oneself, but allowing one's true self to exist; about "reconciliation" — not giving up, but unclenching the fist that has been held tight all along; and about "self-consistency" — being able to find one's own rhythm after walking through different stages of life. In the face of circumstances, personal growth is not only about "adapting" but can also be about "changing."



Over the past ten years, the alumni have each entered different industries and different tracks, and have also gone through different cycles.




Reuniting today, they talked not only about what they had done over the past decade, but also about continuing to search for their next stop amid new technologies, new industries, and new stages of life.

As an alumna of Tsinghua PBCSF EMBA Class of 2016 (Class 8), Tu Hongyan, Chairwoman of Wensli Group, was also one of the hosts of this Hangzhou gathering.

She specially designed a themed commemorative silk scarf for this ten-year reunion.

Using the arrangement and combination of the Tsinghua PBCSF logo patterns as design elements, she wove their shared alumni memories into the silk.

A single silk scarf connects ten years of classmates' friendship at Tsinghua PBCSF and also serves as a special memento of this Hangzhou trip.



From Unitree Robotics' embodied intelligence, to Chuling Information's digital information industry, and then to Wensli's exploration from traditional silk toward AI and new industries — different industries and different paths, yet all are facing the same proposition of the era: continuous innovation and the search for new growth space.

On September 19, at the Wensli Innovation Center, this ten-year reunion belonging to Class 8 also left a new footnote at the intersection of industry, technology, and life.
