The ceremony invited Ling Yun, former First-level Inspector of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, to deliver a special Party lecture on thematic education. A hundred key Party members and middle and senior managers of the Group gathered to study Party history, stay true to the original aspiration, set role models and unite people’s hearts. In March 2007, during the Fifth Session of the Tenth National People's Congress, Comrade Xi Jinping listened to a report on the Design and production of Olympic Souvenirs submitted by Shen Aiqin, a deputy of the National People's Congress. He said happily: "Your design is very good, very creative, very representative, and the government should take it seriously. If you need the help of the government, ask for it, and departments at all levels will give you full support."

Comrade Xi Jinping visited Wensli Group in April 2003. During the visit, under Tu Hongyan's introduction, Xi enjoyed with great interest the silk scroll painting Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival produced by Wensli Innovative Technology.
