On September 7, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to interpret the "Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Historical Classic Industries" jointly issued by six departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and to introduce work related to the high-quality development of the industries.
This is the first specialized policy document issued at the national level for historical classic industries such as silk. The "Opinions" propose two-stage development goals: by 2028, cultivate 50 leading enterprises with revenue of 10 billion yuan and build 100 renowned Chinese consumer brands; by 2030, cultivate a group of world-class enterprises and well-known brands, and push historical classic industries into the medium-to-high end of the global value chain.
Historical classic industries refer to traditional Chinese characteristic industries with profound cultural heritage, such as silk, tea, porcelain, traditional Chinese medicine, brewing, arts and crafts, and the four treasures of the study. They are the crystallization of the wisdom of Chinese civilization and national treasures. This press conference specially set up an experience and exhibition area for historical classic industries. Wensli, a silk cultural and creative technology brand, was invited to exhibit, showcasing its "AI + Silk" technological innovation achievements as well as a series of silk cultural and creative gift boxes, silk scarves, and new scarf products that integrate national trend design with intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship.
During the event, Xie Yuansheng, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the main presenter at the press conference, personally visited the Wensli Silk exhibition booth to learn in detail about Wensli's inheritance of intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship and its digital-intelligent innovative development.

That day, WENSLI also attracted the attention of CCTV's "Xinwen Lianbo" on its comprehensive channel, as well as major domestic and international media.
Over the years, Wensli has remained committed to upholding tradition while driving innovation, safeguarding intangible cultural heritage silk craftsmanship on the one hand and focusing on independent technological innovation on the other. The company has established an AIGC laboratory, built a database of over 700,000 patterns, integrated more than 300 AI algorithms, and accumulated digital cultural assets. By organically combining millennia-old silk artistry with artificial intelligence technology, it has addressed pain points in the traditional silk industry such as long design cycles and the difficulty of customized mass production, making this historic and classic silk industry better suited to contemporary consumer demands. At the same time, through a series of initiatives—including serving and supporting international events, providing technical services to international markets, and partnering with leading global brands on products—Wensli uses silk as a medium to tell China's story well and propel Chinese silk brands onto the world stage.
The introduction of national special policies has brought major opportunities for the high-quality development of the historic and classic silk industry. Wensli will deepen its layout in four hundred-billion-yuan-level industries—digital silk, integrated textile printing and dyeing machines, silk health and wellness, and AI intelligent agents—and position itself as "a communicator of Chinese silk culture, an innovator of Chinese silk technology, and a leader of Chinese silk brands," contributing corporate strength to promoting high-quality economic development.
