To fully demonstrate that Party building leads high-quality corporate development and actively fulfills the contemporary mission of pursuing common prosperity, from June 25 to 26, Tu Hongyan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairperson of Wensli Group, led the Group’s Party Committee leadership, key Party members from each Party branch and employee representatives to Kaihua in Quzhou, the paired locality for common prosperity, to carry out the Silk Road study tour themed "Welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Trace the Red Roots".
The event featured a packed itinerary including visits to the Western Zhejiang Red Culture Root Carving Art Museum, Jinxing Village of Huabu Town — home to a nationally advanced primary-level Party organization, and the high-quality sericulture base established by Wensli Silk in Xidong Village of Huabu Town. It integrated Party building study tours with corporate development and common prosperity practices. Following in the red footsteps to learn the Party’s history, participants gained first-hand experience of the revolutionary spirit of Western Zhejiang embodied by martyrs who sacrificed their lives without hesitation and dedicated themselves selflessly. They drew strong motivation to forge ahead on the new journey, contributing Wensli’s strength to Zhejiang’s endeavour to take the lead in achieving common prosperity under socialism with Chinese characteristics and provincial modernization, and welcoming the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with concrete actions.

Red and green efforts paint a new blueprint, and rural common prosperity is now well underway. To support Kaihua County’s initiative of "prospering villages and enriching residents" and advance the upgrading of the Common Prosperity Alliance, the People’s Government of Kaihua County and Wensli Silk held a signing ceremony for industrial assistance to advance common prosperity in Xidong Village, Huabu Town. Xia Shengmin, Secretary of the Kaihua County Party Committee, attended the event, and Li Jianfeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Kaihua County Party Committee and Secretary of the Huabu Town Party Committee, presided over the ceremony.

Witnessed by Secretary Xia Shengmin and Chairperson Tu Hongyan, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation on the existing foundation. Leveraging its strengths in brand, management and technology, Wensli Silk will further boost local economic development and advance common prosperity for farmers through industrial support. At the scene, Chairperson Tu Hongyan, together with Secretary Xia Shengmin, Secretary Li Jianfeng and other leading officials of Kaihua County and Huabu Town, unveiled the newly completed Wensli Silk Special Cocoon Test Base in Xidong Village.
As an Honorary Citizen of Kaihua County, Tu Hongyan holds a special affection for the county. At a provincial women’s federation conference, Tu Hongyan met Xu Yifeng, Secretary of the Party Branch of Xidong Village, Huabu Town, Kaihua County. Their conversation revealed that Wensli Silk under the Group already had cooperation with Xidong Village. Taking this as an opportunity, Tu Hongyan made multiple inspection trips to Kaihua. “Kaihua County’s development strategy of building the county through ecological conservation is highly consistent with Wensli Silk’s development philosophy of creating a green and healthy whole industrial chain starting from the source,” said Tu Hongyan. Going forward, Wensli Silk will continuously accelerate the development of the entire sericulture industrial chain. Relying on the construction of large-scale sericulture breeding bases, the company will help Kaihua build the Lianhuaxin Sericulture Industrial Park integrating sericulture industry, popular science study tours, parent-child entertainment, specialty product exhibition and sales and other functions. It hopes that the vivid practical achievements in Kaihua County can provide an advanced example for Zhejiang to build a demonstration zone for common prosperity through high-quality development.
"Everyone has work to do and every household earns an income." This was the earnest instruction left by General Secretary Xi Jinping when he inspected Jinxing Village as Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee. Following in General Secretary Xi’s footsteps, all Party member representatives of Wensli gained first-hand experience of this modern village nestled amid mountains and rivers.
Upon entering Jinxing Village, visitors are greeted by green mountains and clear waters, dark tiles and white walls. Several small boats float on the river winding through the village, presenting a natural and harmonious idyllic scene. The villagers have proven through practice that "A happy life is achieved through hard work."
Led by Zheng Chuyi, Secretary of the Golden Party Building Alliance of Huabu Town, Tu Hongyan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairperson of Wensli Group, together with Wensli’s Party members, came under a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree. There, they listened to stories about the harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature and talked with villagers about the Party’s kindness.
Slogans of "Stay true to our original aspiration and founding mission" can be seen everywhere in the village. Boasting a vibrant cultural and creative tourism industry, Jinxing Village, as a nationally advanced primary-level Party organization, impressed the Party members with its drive and energy in building a modern countryside and exploring common prosperity through high-quality development. Witnessing this scene, Tu Hongyan stated firmly that as an advanced primary-level Party organization in Zhejiang Province, Wensli Group should earnestly learn the valuable experience and work style of other advanced primary-level Party organizations, apply what has been learned well, and continuously pursue self-improvement and development.
Led by Li Jianfeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Kaihua County Party Committee and Secretary of the Huabu Town Party Committee, Party members of Wensli visited a mysterious art palace shaped by ancient tree roots — the Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Zone. Everywhere are exotic root sculptures that integrate Buddhist culture and 5,000 years of Chinese civilization. The visit allowed all Party members to return to nature, appreciate the perfect combination of culture and ecology, and experience the profound ideological origins and strong cohesion that fine traditional culture endows the nation with.
Following the red footprints, Party members of Wensli visited the Western Zhejiang Red Culture Root Carving Art Museum. Through root carving works, they reviewed important historical events and revisited the extraordinary years when our Party pioneered a great cause. Combined with modern display technologies such as 3D and holography in the museum, they gained an immersive experience of the magnificent century-long history of the Communist Party of China.
All Party members retook the Party oath, recalling their resolve and convictions of the past and reflecting on their understanding and actions today. They will dedicate themselves to work and life with greater enthusiasm and a more positive attitude.
