On July 24, the sixth session of the 2026 "High-Quality Development Think Tank Lecture Series" hosted by the Zhejiang Development & Planning Institute was held. Tu Hongyan, Chairwoman of Wensli Group, was invited to give a special lecture titled "Fifty Years of Transformation: Intelligently Leading the Future of a Hundred-Billion-Yuan Industry." As a top-tier provincial high-end think tank in Zhejiang, the Institute's lecture series focuses on cutting-edge topics such as new quality productive forces and industrial transformation. This session specially invited a benchmark Zhejiang merchant enterprise to share its development path, providing a practical model for the upgrading of traditional industries across the province. Vice President Yin Zhijun presided over the event, Vice President Lan Jianping offered commentary, and Party Secretary and President Li Jun, along with members of the Institute's leadership team, attended.

At the event, Chairwoman Tu Hongyan shared Wensli's development path of "culture as the soul, technology as empowerment, and brand as the guide," as well as its future strategic layout of advancing into four hundred-billion-yuan tracks: classic silk, waterless printing and dyeing integrated machines, AI silk intelligent agents, and the life and health industry.

Currently, relying on multiple core self-developed technologies and products such as its AI intelligent agent backed by a 700,000-level pattern database and waterless printing and dyeing integrated machines, Wensli has already connected the entire chain from creative design and green production to personalized customization, propelling silk beyond the boundaries of traditional apparel and extending it into diverse scenarios such as home decoration, cultural tourism, general health, and beauty.

During the exchange session, Tu Hongyan shared in-depth insights based on her years of experience in industry. Around hot topics such as the inheritance and development of silk culture, the reshaping of brand value in the intelligent era, and corporate social responsibility in the AI era, she shared her views: the development of the silk industry requires both tradition and innovation. It is necessary to preserve the essence of Eastern silk culture while also actively embracing digital intelligence. Only by balancing commercial value and social value can the growth space of a hundred-billion-yuan industry be opened up. She concluded that the core of long-term development for traditional industries lies in continuous self-renewal, relying on scientific and technological innovation to activate the cultural core of tradition, and leveraging flexible intelligent manufacturing to adapt to diverse markets, thereby forging a differentiated and sustainable path of modern industry.
